Internet safety is of upmost important to us.
Through blogging, the students in 4KM and 4KJ have the opportunity to learn about appropriate online behaviours in an authentic and supervised setting.
The following guidelines have been established to ensure the safety of our students when blogging:
Our blog is a collaborative effort. While Miss Jordan and Mrs Morris moderate all comments and posts, please let us know if you think we have overlooked any breeches in our safety guidelines and we will fix it up ASAP.
Note for teachers: if you are going to replicate 4KM and 4KJ’s blogging guidelines, you don’t need to ask permission but please attribute the source of the guidelines and link back to our blog. Thank you! 
Hello from a try hard blogger. I have been looking at your blog in 2011 for inspiration in starting a blog for my 3/4 class at St Ita’s Catholic Primary School in Drouin, Gippsland, Victoria.
I note that you are now teaching a grade 4 class.
Would it be possible for me to use your blogging guidelines as a guide for writing up a similar script when constructing our class blog?
I am new to blogging, although I have been following yours, and many others for about 12 months.
I just seem to fall foul with the design,layout etc. and can never seem to easily drop in things like clocks etc. note that I am trying to do this using free to use items.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong with your widgets. We only ever use free tools. Perhaps you should email support@edublogs.org if you’re using Edublogs or Global2.

Hello there, I too would love to use your blogging guidelines as a template for our class blog. We are also beginners and also seem to be having difficulty getting anything onto the sidebar that is not on the widget page. I think I need to spend some more time on the teacher challenges! I am also a beginning teacher so time is very precious at the mo!! We will be adding you to our list of fav blogs too, thanks for the inspiration

As a new blogger I am definitely going to incorporate your guidelnes and will happlily acknowledge your blog as the source. I have also looked at DEECD’s acceptable use template and while this is a useful and important document, I agree that it is important to include these at the point of use.

I am a student in 4th grade in Louisiana. I think you really have a cool blog. I’ve been looking at videos,looking at posts,and even saw some theater productions in videos.
One day I hope I can visit Australia and see all the cool animals that we don’t have in America. The only times I see koalas and kangaroos is when I’m in a diferent part of America at a zoo. I still can’t belive that when I’m at school, your asleep.
What is your favorite thing to do at your school? Do you have any other subjects that we might not have? Hope I can visit Australia soon.
